Projects
Focuz Infotech
is offering projects to the brilliant students who is having
an MCA/B.Tech background looking for an advanced and
challenging project. If interested, apply online now or come
and meet us in person.
Our Academic Projects:
I) Software Projects
1. Kernel module programming (Device drivers, File
systems)
Linux operates in two modes--the Kernel mode and the User
mode. Linux transfers the execution from user space to the
kernel space through system calls and the hardware
interrupts.
The Linux kernel is a monolithic kernel. Adding new
components into the kernel, via the configuration process,
is time consuming. The best and the robust alternative is
the ability to dynamically load and unload the components of
the operating system using Linux Kernel Modules.
2. Java Applications (Java telephony, distributed
computing)
The Java Telephony API supports telephony call control. The
Java Telephony API is a portable, object-oriented
application programming interface for Java-based computer -
telephony applications.
In computer science, distributed computing studies the
coordinated use of physically distributed computers. There
are many different types of distributed computing systems
and many challenges to overcome in successfully designing
one.
3. Neural Networks & Artificial Intelligence Projects
An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is an information
processing paradigm that is inspired by the way biological
nervous systems, such as the brain, process information. An
ANN is configured for a specific application, such as
pattern recognition or data classification, through a
learning process.
Artificial intelligence includes:
* games playing: programming computers to play games such as
chess
* expert systems: programming computers to make decisions in
real-life situations
(for example, some expert systems help doctors diagnose
diseases based on symptoms)
* natural language: programming computers to understand
natural human languages
* robotics: It is one branch of artificial intelligence
4. J2EE and
J2ME Projects
We have strategic tie up with Sun Microsystems in the
technology front. We advice you to do your projects at a
software company.
5. Networking and System level projects using C, C++ and
Java
Are you looking for a challenging advanced Networking or
System level projects?
We are providing advanced projects based on your tastes.
6. Web based projects using PHP, JSP and J2EE
For catering your demands in the high end technologies, we
have a unique division, Focuz Infotech Advanced Education.
Focuz Infotech is into high end linux based technology
development and consulting, and solution partners for IBM.
7. Administrative Projects (mini projects)
You can do Administrative projects here.
II) Embedded Projects
1. Micro Controller based Projects (8051 & pic)
Covers programming the 8051 family of microcontrollers using
the C language.
Embedded C Programming and the Microchip PIC projects are
taken through use of the C Compiler, and learn to
efficiently develop projects.
2. Robotics (robotic arm motion control, metal
detection, sound detection)
Robots have become important over a wide range of
applications - from manufacturing, to surgery, to the
handling of hazardous materials. It is important to
understand how they work, and what problems exist in
designing effective robots.
3. Real Time Linux Applications
We provide Real Time Linux application projects.
4. GPS based Projects
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based
navigation system made up of a network of satellites placed
into orbit. Now GPS was made available for civilian use. GPS
works in any weather conditions, anywhere in the world, 24
hours a day.
5. GSM based Projects
Global System for Mobile Communications is an open,
non-proprietary system that is constantly evolving. GSM
satellite roaming has extended service access to areas where
terrestrial coverage is not available.
GSM differs from first generation wireless systems in that
it uses digital technology and time division multiple access
transmission methods. Voice is digitally encoded via a
unique encoder, which emulates the characteristics of human
speech. This method of transmission permits a very efficient
data rate/information content ratio.
6. Fingerprint Identification
Everyone is known to have unique, immutable fingerprints. A
fingerprint is made of a series of ridges and furrows on the
surface of the finger. The uniqueness of a fingerprint can
be determined by the pattern of ridges and furrows as well
as the minutiae points. Minutiae points are local ridge
characteristics that occur at either a ridge bifurcation or
a ridge ending.
7. CAN
We provide challenging projects in Control Area Networks
(CAN).
8. Embedded Linux Application Development (embedded
java, qtopia, j2me)
A survey in 2003 found that 33 percent of respondents used
embedded Linux in their (or their company's) products during
the past two years, while 49 percent expected to do within
next two years.
This year, 43 percent say they have used Linux, while 55
expect to. Linux used in embedded systems continues to swell
dramatically.
9. DSP based Projects
DSP, or Digital Signal Processing, is the processing of
signals by digital means. DSPs can be embedded within
complex "system-on-chip" devices, often containing both
analog and digital circuitry. DSP technology is now-a-days
common in such devices as mobile phones, multimedia
computers, video recorders, CD players, hard disc drive
controllers and modems, and will soon replace analog
circuitry in TV sets and telephones. An important
application of DSP is in signal compression and
decompression.
10. Pure Electronic Projects
We provide various usefull electronic projects.
III) BioMetrics Projects
Biometrics BioMetrics Projects
The technique of studying physical characteristics of a
person such as finger prints, hand geometry, eye structure
or voice pattern.
